Vizzia Technologies Expands Leadership Team with Healthcare RTLS & RFID Veterans
Appoints David Wiedman Chief Commercial Officer and Cynthia Badgio VP Solutions Development
ATLANTA, GA—(November 13, 2017)—Vizzia Technologies, a leading provider of fully managed real-time location systems (RTLS) for healthcare organizations, has appointed David R. Wiedman as Chief Commercial Officer and Cynthia J. Badgio as Vice President of Solutions Development.
Vizzia continues to grow its customer base, data platform and leadership team on its continued path to providing sophisticated real-time visibility for mission critical healthcare assets and improving patient care processes.

David R. Wiedman
Dave Wiedman brings over 30 years of executive management experience in the Auto-ID technology industry (scanning, tracking, RFID) with a strong background in strategic business development and a proven track record in driving revenue growth and customer retention. Healthcare clients include: Catholic Health, Jefferson Health and Kaiser Permanente.
Mr. Wiedman was President & Chief Operating Officer of Lexicon Technologies, VP of Business Development for ChannelMax and Connect Inc. and Co-founder of AccuScan Inc. AccuScan was acquired by Peak Technologies (NASDAQ: PEAK).
Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Tampa. He served on the Board of Directors of the Service Industry Association (SIA).
Cynthia J. Badgio
Cynthia Badgio has extensive healthcare IT and RTLS experience for leading healthcare organizations to include Grady Memorial Hospital, Piedmont Healthcare and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHoA).
In addition to implementing RTLS solutions, she has worked on project teams that implemented Epic’s EHR solution, Oracles PeopleSoft Application, Oracles Fusion Cloud Talent Management and Heat HR Service Management.
Cynthia has a Bachelor of Science in Health Management (BSHM) from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Health Administration (MSHA) from Georgia State University.
